A card for the graduates

Hi, I was wondering how many graduates we have on this site:

Elessar is graduating from college in May, presumably CX? How about Bookworm? Are you/did you just graduate from graduate school?

I was thinking we could all sign a card for each graduate. I'm sure there is some high-tech photoshop way to do it, but at least there is physically cut-and-pasting PM messages onto a physical card and scanning it the whole and posting it here, and/or snail-mailing the physical cards.

So graduates, please announce yourselves here! Card signers, hold your congradulations for the card--a surprise! Ha!

My son is graduating elementary school and moving up to middle school. Does that count? :D

Graduation ceremonies are so mindnumbingly tedious that I don't think we should encourage anyone to give us extras.

Uh, how about 8th grade graduation from a school which only goes through 8th grade, requiring the student to switch to a new school for high school? Does that count?

OK, yes, if that 8th grader has been a regular at this site! (I think I'm safe there.)

Uh, no. Just a relative of a site regular graduating from 8th grade. Okay, so the cards are for regulars on the site who are graduating this Spring from 8th grade or higher? That sounds reasonable! And CX, we will get you next year or when you DO graduate, right? We better get cracking, cause early May is when college graduations occur.

If he is, tell him to come on over and let us know.

I got a Enterprise-y-looking card and was going to change the words, but before I do, look at this:

SOME MORE SO THAN OTHERS!

Sorry, why am I so mean? Well, I think that card would fit for ALL our potential graduates. (Not to mention the rest of our Triaxian Silk crew).

OK, if anyone wants to "sign" the card for Elessar, send your short greeting/congratulations to me in a PM. I'll paste it into the card. (And show you the "real" card.)

:D

I'm still writing my masters theses so I will be graduating later this year. I'm aiming for September.

I'll keep that in mind, Bookworm!

OK, last chance to sign a card for Elessar. PM me with your greeting. For instance:

"Congradulations, YOUR SCREEN NAME HERE."

I will print it out and put it in the card which will go out by snail mail after this weekend.

:)
