Well, we all do renos and I'm sure we would all like to show off said slaving reno work.

So 'ere's our Reno Thread. (As in renovation, not Janet).

I was just watching these 2 youtubes and was surprised at my own handiwork (cause I forgot to take proper before/after pix).

Here's our living room as it was a few weeks ago:



Fine, but a little dark and cluttered. The kitchen was dark yellow with nicotine (not ours) stained cupboards.

We want to sell this summer if poss.

So little ol' pregnant barfing me got some light grey paint and lightened it up and did the kitchen pale pale yellow and whitened the niccy cupboards. And we got a new couch cover from IKEA...same couch, just a new cloth cover. Ooh, and a couple mirrors to trick you into thinking it's big.

I can't believe you do all that while you're barfing and pregnant! Nice job.

I love IKEA. We're still using an old IKEA couch from NJ with a cheap cover from Target on it because although we wore through the upholstery the sofa just won't die and I still like it better than anything I see up here.
