KTR... We are gifted

She's Doctor Alison Porter. I remember hearing they were going to add a few female characters... turns out they added a whole female
SG Team. Fine with me. They're all smokin hot
And so far Major Teldy has some SPUNK in her. Iiiiiii like it.
LOL. As the women walk away (the first time LtCol Sheppard and Dr. Beckett discover there's a team full of women), Beckett and Sheppard knock a fist-bump,

Btw, even better.... Pretty sure Beckett and Porter are pretty smitten

Sheppard is the suppose to be the highest ranking military officer on Atlantis. How the hell is he unaware that an SG team is an all-women team and that they were even on Atlantis? If you thought the Enterprise writers didn't understand military structure and protocol, then the writers of this episode are completely laughable.
Please explain, somebody who understands today's military command structure and protocol.
It was nice to see Nicole deBoer again.

I was a little surprised on this note as well, but also remember that this is still while Woolsey is "in charge", so ultimately, it would be up to him to fully brief Sheppard on new personnel assignments. LtCol Sheppard was aware the team leader was a woman... and so maybe if they had *just* been assigned to Pegasus, you could argue he just hadn't had a chance to go through the personnel files of all of her team members yet. And they do make a point to say they just got to Pegasus... Still, the level of 'out-of-the-loop'ness' seemed kind of high.

They haven't gotten around to showing SG-A season 5 here so I haven't seen it yet. And I've been busy watching other things so I haven't, ehum, "acquired" it either. But I knew she was going to guest star.
Is Nikki going to be there for the rest of the season?
I hope this is a way to introduce her to the audience and then her character will transfer to the new Stargate seies.

From the episode, it wasn't clear whether she would reappear.

They aired
Whispers here the other day. That's the one with Nicole deBoer and I must say that she still looks very hot.

I can't believe she's almost 38 years old now! She still has this cute pixie look.
Anyway, this was also a Carson Beckett episode and they hinted at some attraction between them. And by the end both of them left Atlantis.
I can't help thinking (and hoping) that TPTB will but Beckett and Alison Porter (Nikki's character) on the new Stargate series
Stargate Universe.
Oh, I'm pretty miffed that Gateworld didn't bother to put up some hi-res pictures/screencaps of Nikki from the episode. They did with everyone else.

I saw the first season of Dead Zone some years ago when it was on TV here. I don't think they bothered to show the rest of that show. At any rate I never watched beyond that.
