Time passes, really, and it - and diseases - take away all.

That's sad!

Man, many TOS actors have now passed away, Kelley, Doohan... and now Mrs. Roddenberry.
At least she managed to finish the computer voice on Trek XI.

I was stunned to read about this when I got home today. I registered at roddenberry.com and posted some of my memories about meeting her. It's very sad because she's such a big part of the Star Trek legacy...but at the same time, she's with Gene again now.
The first thing I did after reading about her passing was go and find the pictures I have of her from when I met her. She was so nice to me and my mom, and it was one of the best, most special cons I've ever been to. Majel had really made my weekend.

I just received this link to an
L.A. Times article about Majel's memorial service. In it is also a link to her obituary.
I really like the picture of her and Gene.

I think it's sweet that she's still the voice of Enterprise in the new movie. At least they didn't feel the need to sex THAT up.
