Me and my personal T'Pol (There's who speaks, and there's who's silent.
)

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

I can see that the good looks run in the family. And she looks so similar to her cousin that for a moment I thought they were one and the same. I'm sure that their Grandmother must be the proudest Grandmother in the world, and rightly so.

Thanks Cogito.
Well, my mother in law is very proud, in effect. Even too much, damn it.
It's hard to restrain her
, but, after all, 90 years are 90 years. They deserve respect.

I walked home from work through the park and came across this lovely spot, so I thought I'd share.

Pear harvest at my house. We picked all the low hanging fruit. Then got some more with the ladder and basket on a stick (which are laying on the grass). Then my granddaughter climbed the tree and shook the branches to bring the rest of the pears down. We go five baskets full of pears - more than any past year. Canned twenty quarts so far, using up only two of the baskets.

Our newest pets, Orville and Wilbur, who are Flemish Giant/Checkered Giant rabbits. They are eight months old -10 1/2 and 11 1/2 pounds apiece. From the same litter. They live in the kitchen but often escape up the stairs to the second floor or down the stairs to the basement. When allowed in the dining room and living room, they love to run and leap on the rugs. Their jumps are about four feet into the air with a twist which sets them off into the opposite direction. They even jump up onto chairs and tables.

Great pictures, Linda. On this side of the pond I had very little fruit this year and my pear tree produced no fruit at all.
When I look at that last picture, I can't help adding a caption in bunny-speak:
Look forward to the new story when it is ready.

Sorry about your pears, Cogito. I'd send you a bunch of mine if the mailing cost of all that weight in pears would be reasonable. And I don't know about the regulations for exporting fruit.
The boys (Orville and Wilbur) don't seem to like pears because they didn't eat the pieces of pear I gave them. But they like to chew on twigs from the pear tree. I am thinking of cutting some of the branches back because the branches break under a heavy load of pears.

My grandson with his gear packed to leave Ft. Leonard Wood. His dad helping to carry one bag and his sisters holding his hands. Mom behind trying to be funny giving one of them bunny ears. I am walking backwards trying not to trip as I take photos. Dylan graduated from Army military police training the next morning.

Whole family at the military police memorial

Dad taking a photo of Dylan at the military police memorial wall at Ft Leonard Wood where he received his military police badge.

Dylan and grandma (me)

Dylan and Mom at the graduates' banquet. Dylan is just 19 years old and turned 19 during basic training. He went into basic training weighing 120 pounds and at graduation in July weighed 145 pounds. He still looks as skinny as ever, though, LOL, but healthier.
