I can personally vouch for that part. I walked maybe 3 blocks to get back to my dorm when I took that screencap, and my legs and face were frozen, and my hands were numb despite the nice thick winder gloves I had, but then, those are only rated down to about -15. Wind bit me a little through my parka and fleece inner jacket, too.

When I was a kid, I used to think it was a hoot to run outside in winter with wet hair and have it freeze into icicles. It is not funny anymore. :|

I was about to tell you it's getting bad here too, but I checked and it's actually PLUS 24 degrees here. I guess I can't complain. But we had howling winds last night that knocked out our electricity. And the boys had a two hour school delay. I don't know if it was because of the wind or the cold.
I'm donating my body to science fiction.
