And here's my great-great grandma (the great grandma above's mother)

and they were super poor refugee immigrants with falsified papers and they'd never really ever had a picture taken before. I've always had this picture, but never really been able to see their faces until now! The girls especially remind me of my own face in the mirror at that age, and the older ladies have traces of my mom, and the funny looking guy on the right has shades of my Mom's brother in him. But they are a funny-looking bunch to be sure.
Notice how the pink dressed girl is wearing a dress waaaay too small for her over that darker skirt underneath? And she added plaid sections to her sleeves to make them longer. It's a fully made over charity-barrel dress.
And once I was closeup and enhancing the contrast, I discovered that both she and her sister had saucy little belts on their dresses, so I darkened the belts up.
