Porthos can be called by a loyal friend. Archer and Travis are pilots that are fitting to their SW counterparts. But I think we may agree that not always that what is logical is a sound decision.

OMG it's the BEST!! I always liked it, but I fell in love with it in the episode where it's Kelly's birthday but her boyfriend punks out on her, claiming to be sick or having to go out of town or something, so the Bundy family goes to the movies. Kelly spots her boyfriend making out with another girl in the back row. She looks at Al, and pitifully says, "Daddy....?" Al says, "Right, Pumpkin," rolls up his sleeves, and beats the crap out of the guy! The whole theater erupts into a brawl!!!

What I liked about this was it showed something that happens in non-dysfunctional families: no matter how much you screw with each other, if someone from OUTSIDE the family messes with one of your own, watch out!! When the chips are down, Al steps up to the plate, and I thought it was great.

^ Yeah, I always thought those moments were rather cute too. I recall one episode when Kelly is left by her boyfriend/date in the middle of nowhere and Bud of all people sides with her.
