I happened to see this in banner form over at SciFi-Meshes and asked the artist, B.J. Olejnik, if I could show it here. He not only said yes, but he gave me the original full-sized pic.
Anyway, hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

It's from the TBBS "Trek in another artist's style thingy" art challenge... the challenge that resulted in SouthTrek
