Some people say that melatonin works for jet lag... I haven't tried it because, after years of back and forth between time zones-- europe/U.S.-- I adjust in a day. For me, it's just a few cups of espresso and hot chocolate at the office on day one and I'm set.
Speaking of travel... just got off of a flight where the woman next to me spent the entire time playing "let's see how long it takes before my seatmates blast me out of the emergency exit". At one point, she had her feet on me.

Did I tell y'all how much I love the general public?

Yep. What a lovely society we live in.

Yesterday I had an audition and my friend came with me and like on my way back the bus was like really really full, so full that it had to stop picking up people. And then like in the middle of the ride it broke down. And everyone had to go outside wait for the next one. And like there was that guy, some dirty elderly homeless bum type (buses and LA in general are full of them
) as soon as we get off the bus he goes like "we're stranded!! Anyone got food??"
Like dude. Why don't you round up the survivors and start building shelters from pieces of the broken bus. And heaven forbid I let anyone know I had like a half-full bottle of water in my backpack.
I mean jeez it's frelling Lincoln Blvd in Santa Monica. Hardly a desert island

Exact location:

Well and like in the next bus (which of course was even fuller because everyone squeezed in with all the people in there already
) like my friend found a seat and I didn't so I went like all the way to the back because everyone had to squeeze in all the way to the back, and my friend doesn't know LA well and she didn't know where to get off so like before we had to get off I tried to navigate my way to her to tell her. Through a crowded moving bus. And there was that stupid ass ghetto chick sitting all like leaned back in her seat, legs stretched forward as if she owns the frelling bus blocking all the aisle, then I almost tripped over her legs because they were in the way, and what does she do, she gets like all pissed off yells at me "excUSE you!!" And I'm like "sorry" and she's like "yeah. You better be". Like WHAT THE FRELL???
Like did I almost trip her over?? Who the frell does she think she is and whoever the hell she thinks she is what makes her any better than everyone else??

And also my phone died like in the middle of the trip even though I just charged it like the day before and it usually holds for like 5 days. I don't know what's up with the battery it's happened once before, and then I charged it again and it was fine held its usual charge so I don't know. It's getting all fritzed

Life sucks. On the other hand, its payday.

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Grrrrr. That stupid Zombie (formerly known as Alarm Clock Lady) is talking about me in German and she thinks I don't understand what she's saying. Which is stuff she's not supposed to say. She's like totally demented sick in the head and makes up like piles over piles of dren about people like how she knows everyone and their parents since they were little babies, and that she used to be president and has her face on a $2,000 bill and stuff like that. And now she goes telling tales about me in German and thinks I don't understand her.

So tell her in German you can understand her.

How can you understand a language and not speak even a little of it? Maybe just enough to say, "Good Morning" to her cheerfully, and then smile knowingly when her jaw drops.
Incidentally, she sounds like she's schizophrenic or has some other psychotic disorder. I'd steer WAY clear of her before she develops a delusion that puts you in danger. You might also talk to your boss about how the woman has delusions, and express your concern about the safety of allowing this woman to stay. Sounds like she needs help.

Guten morgen.
Whine: I'm going to have to move in the very near future. My roommate is selling this house, so I'll have to find someplace else to live.
I hate moving.
