Re: The Whine thread.
I get the migraines without the aura and usually they start in the morning when I'm not quite awake so the meds usually don't work and I have to suffer for hours.

Keeping a triptan nasal spray at your bedside (onset of action 15 minutes vs 40 minutes for oral meds) might work. That or the self-injected Imitrex. You'd have to wake up and give it to yourself, though. What a way to wake up in the morning. Yuk. Probably better than a migraine if it works, though.

It's been my experience that in college writing classes, bitterness and angst are adored. It's like they all feed off each other's angst. (My Creative Writing major roommate used to say that some day a lot of her classmates were going to wake up happy and have nothing to write about.) That aside, though, what the bride did was very inconsiderate.cherryblossomjen wrote::sigh: I'm just a bit tired of having my friends dissapoint me as of late. Last semester I wrote this terribly bitter poem about one scenario and shared it with my equally bitter creative writing class. I was shocked to see them enjoy it (or at least the extent that they did). I guess we can all relate to a good 'whine' now and then.

My doc prescribed me Xefo Rapid http://www.xeforapid.com/en/menu/ in pill form. Distracted could you tell me what type of painkiller it exactly is?

Whine: Why can't some people figure out how to change the TP or how to lift the lid?
The minimum age in this dorm is 22, but the way some people act, I'd swear they were middle schoolers who constantly expect mommy to come and clean up after them or something. Some of these guys can't even figure out how to turn the light off before they leave.

It's a prescription antiinflamatory pain med... like super-potent Advil. It's a non-narcotic pain reliever. If your doc thinks you're having muscle tension headache or cluster headache (a form of migraine more common in men) then it's a good choice, but it's not as fast acting as a nasal spray or a shot, and it's not specific for migraines.

Re: The Whine thread.
Whine: gah my cellphone (the old one that I use as my alarm clock) doesn't frelling wanna charge properly. Keeps loosing contact all the time like out of nowhere.
Like it doesn't even frelling move!!
Well and now I'm like holding it and it hasn't fritzed on me for over 10 seconds straight!!
Guess it just wanna be held

oh yeah and the frelling manager pissed me off today AGAIN with her patronizing tone thinking she knows everything and I don't know nothing and starting with stupid fixations that have like absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Re: The Whine thread.
Like I said last time you whined about your phone, you need a new battery.
Either you overcharged it, or its simply come to the end of its lifespan.

Re: The Whine thread.
Last time I was whining about my other cellphone. Which since has been holding its charges for like a week at a time as usual. Like seriously I counted, exactly a week between charges. The old phone holds its charge for like 3 days (and always has) and the problem isn't the battery it's the frelling charger. Contacts are like totally fritzing out on me

Re: The Whine thread.
I didn't know anyone who died on 9/11 personally, but I have some DVDs about it that I like to review on every anniversary to remember the deaths and the heroism. The day is etched into my mind because it is also my wedding anniversary which is now forever overshadowed with sadness.

So, CX, start a fire in a wastepaper basket and make them have the "drill" when you want it. No, on second thought, don't do that!
