I'm glad nobody was hurt! But what's a topper? Is that some North Dakotan way of saying cap?

Oh a Saturn...did you happen to notice what kind?
I have a Saturn. I love it.
Yes Navigator.....CACI is the devil at times.
I got offered employment with them...I didn't take it....they tried to low ball my salary.

A topper is that big maroon thing on the box.

Yeah, Saturns have good brakes. I own one. It has 190,000 miles on it and the engine is just great. The body is ok, starting to rust a bit underneath, but since it is mostly plastic, does not look like a res car yet. I will be careful of trucks with purple caps (I mean toppers) if I ever make it to North Dakota, LOL. I will just pull along side and say "Hey, CX! Let's stop somewhere for a cup of coffee! I'm buying."

Yes, a topper is what we in New England call a cap. I find it interesting how language varies regionally. My roommate all through undergrad years called water fountains "bubblers." This truck topper is a new one for me.

Yes, bubbler is a midwest expression. I discovered that when I moved from upstate New York to Milwaukee.

Sorry, I just found that funny. Heh.

Ah. A canopy.

Glad nobody was injured. I carpool in a Saturn Ion 3 days a week.

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

I own a Saturn Ion. I'd love to carpool to save gas money/ emissions. But not many people in my area commute out to where I work....and those that do work a regular 9 to 5. While I work 6 to 6.

Never heard that one out here. We just call 'em hats...

Re: Randomness
I've noticed that some people here talk about working crazy amount of hours in a week an that makes me curious don't you have limitations on how many hours you can work in a week in the US?

Re: Randomness
hmm. I don't believe there are any limitations. And the crazy hours come from everything being so expensive and pple not being paid enough to meet the cost of living. my DH works over 60 hours.
