Watching: Ken Burns The War. Omaha Beach. It's unbelievable. Everything went wrong, but they pulled it out.

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Preparing: a display about WWII, to co-ordinate with the Ken Burns series.
Eating: an eggplant and roasted yellow pepper sandwich. Interesting.

Re: What are you...
I gave blood today - first time for a couple of years. I was a regular donor but had to stop because of some medications I was taking for swelling joints. They thought it was rheumatoid arthritis, but it went away and I have been off the medications for awhile. Outside of hating needles (never got used to them even as a regular blood donor) and a slight dizziness for a minute right after, I feel great to be doing this little public service again!

Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.
Re: What are you...
Good for you. I wish I could give blood, but my hematocrit is never high enough. I'm real used to needles now - it would be breeze. Oh well. There's always jury duty.

Good for you! I personally dislike the frequent college blood drives. I would be a good donor except I did once and it made me sick. Nothing makes you feel guilty for hanging on to a part of you're body that you're using quite like a bllod drive.Linda wrote:I gave blood today - first time for a couple of years. Pondering: what on Earth I should wear for what can best be described as a pre-date. (My last 'date' was on the playground in 5th grade when I was 'going out' with someone.)
