LOL!!! SAD! This is SO SAD!!

When even your DOG knows you have a problem!

Emily used to do that!

She would come over and put her nose under my arm and lift while I was typing to ask to be petted. She do it all the time just about. Man I miss that dog! :(

Chessie cat sometimes will come over and head butt me and the Computer for pets all the while yowling. Too funny what pets will do for attention!

You know you are a Trekkie when, as you slow down on the freeway exit ramp you say to your spouse "finished with warp drive, engaging impulse engines".

I had my first laugh today with your anecdote  ... I hope your husband knew what you were talking about, though.

...you're alarmed to note the brand name on the side of your old headphones: Koss.

When you yell:"Ahead warp zillion!"
In stop-and-go traffic: "I think we've dropped out of warp."

You know you are a Trekkie when you are sitting in your boat cabin watching ENT episodes on a DVD thrown into your laptop instead of studying the chart for your next cruise. :?

You know you are a Trekkie (and precisely an Enterprise fan, and precisely a TnT fan) when your wife stares at you raising an eyebrow (like T'Pol) and is asking very coldly: who does be T'Pol?
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Here might be an answer to 'Who is T'Pol?' for a husband to tell his wife: "My Dear, T'Pol is a woman who would not even be born before we have died. She is of an alien people who do not even exist...but if it is possible they do exist, it would be impossible for Humans to contact them for about another 50 years!"

Well, it is worth a try.

You know you and your husband are both Trekkies when he sees the droolworthy Connor Trinner screensaver you have up (fully dressed, mind you!) and retaliates by putting one on HIS computer from Jolene Blalock's Maxim shoot. (That's not fair!!! MY screensaver at least has clothes on!!! :( )

Be reasonable. It's not HIS fault that Trip never posed for Playgirl, is it?

Now that would make a good April fool's issue, a layout of Jolene as T'Pol with ears and wig. I'm somewhat surprised noone has photoshopped various screen shots to create such a photo shoot. Maybe someone has.

Well, Distracted...at least your husband shows the common symtoms of being a trekkie. Doesn't make it easier when both spouses are afflicted? Another sign (as I discovered in my husband) is having your nose burried in an ST technical manual every evening before bed. Sometimes he take a manual with him and tries to belittle his addiction in front of his friends: nose emerges and he says "Of course it is all a bunch of crap", then the nose descends back into the manual (he is legally blind, so he has to read that way).
