I love both footwear and red. I'm one of those women who buys more shoes than I can possibly justify needing because I like them. I'm particularly good at finding the bargains. But boots are more expensive.

The only footwear I got is two pairs of custom made combat boots

I got one pair of tennis shoes I wear. One pair of flip flops that I usually can't find. One pair of winter boots that I dread putting on. One pair of wing tips for funerals. That's about it. I think.

Ok, two pairs of slippers because one pair was a gift. Bare feet in the house except in winter when the floor is cold. But bare feet a lot in winter too because BOTH pairs of slippers usually get kicked under furniture or the parrot, when he is walking on the floor, picks them up in his beak and moves them around. The rabbit ignores the slippers though she might push them out of the way with her nose when she goes under the furniture.

Two pair of tennis shoes, one with big holes in them that I wear when doing yard work. The other pair I wear on the boat and at work when I can get away with it if there will be no vistors wanting tours of the compters and no meetings that day.

One nice pair of leather shoes for work - flat because I hate heels.

A couple pair of high heeled shoes, very out of date because I dont wear them much. Occassional out to dinner in them, kind of thing. By the way, I am envious of mens shoes because they dont go out of fashion as fast as womens shoes. Oh, and my brother is a podiatrist (foot doctor) and says high heeled shoes are good for business. He treats lots of high heel shoe abused feet.

Uh, there is more. One pair of dress black shoes for Coast Guard watch standing at boat shows and change of watch dinners.
I wear the black tennis shoes with the working uniform - the one good pair of tennis shoes.

I own lots of boots and sandals because I need period medieval footwear several weekends a year. Everything else is either close toed flat comfortable leather slipons for working in all day or tennis shoes. I don't own a quarter of the shoes my 15 year old does, though. She collects Converse tennis shoes. She must have 25 pairs. She's got high tops and low tops, black, red, green, pink, plaid, and checkered ones. One pair with penguins and another with frogs. One pair made out of fuzzy yellow tennis ball felt (I kid you not! And they're high tops!). A camo pair. A pair with skulls and crossbones. I forget what else. The girl just likes Converse tennis shoes. I think we buy a new pair every time we go to the mall.
