My stuff has been in a couple of little galleries, but never sort of "featured" like this. It's like when you frame a piece - even a fingerpainting - suddenly it has this mysterious authority. :)

Taking pictures isn't something I do very well, but I did take some. Now I have to find those little cords that go from the camera to the computer...

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

I got a 94 on my statistical data analysis mid term. yay for two-way analysis of variance in completely randomized designs with parallel blocking and testing hypotheses with p-values and F-statistics! :D

Happy News:

So after, um, something like six hundred and thirty four hours of waste-o-time trekShopping (photoshopping, that is) I showed the http://www.triaxtpolitan.com/ site to a friend. He was like "I don't understand your universe, but I have two weeks left to finish this sexy motorcycles Burn Fund calendar and all the photographers are charging an arm and a leg to PhotoShop and so can you do it instead?"

And I was like: "Yes. Yes I can."

So no $$$, but perhaps I will get some credit.

Yes it's a real thing. I even understood it once upon a time, and still know the lingo enouph to edit papers discussing two-way analysis of variance in completely randomized experiments. In fact p-values and F-Statistics I think should be written like this p-values and F-Statistics, . . . I think?

Happy News--I hope: My son's H.S. soccer team meet up with their archrivals tonight in the play-off game. YIKES!!! Every single game they play against this team goes into double overtime. Can't wait!!!!

Oh, and Elessar, is this a real thing? All Astronomy Club members got invited to this exciting lecture at sponsored by the Spectroscopic Society:

"Lasing Without Inversion: Bose-Einstein Condensation of Polaritons in Semiconductor Microcavities."

Uh . . . right . . . (I only know because I just pulled the invitation out of my purse.)

Enterprikayak, I think your photoshoping Archer head on Bonaparte's body is neat, but you should put Archer's hair on him too, so he can be recognized better.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

TOUCHÉE!
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

And I saved $5 on public transportation. Trains are free

Wonderful!!!! And wonderful to hear you admit you are awesome.

I suppose this should go in the Whine thread but I will stubbornly put it here. My son's team lost 0 to 1 in double overtime. (Didn't I tell you that EVERY game against this team goes into double overtime.) I will put a happy spin on it though. Great game. Great sportsmanship on both sides. Great season. (It's over now.) Two kids made shirts with my son's name and number on it, to wear to the game. (They were like his best friends). He's taking it well--the loss. And it's never really over--the informal indoor season starts Monday. :?
