I think she's really pretty. Like even though she looks like a jungle cat. And I think she actually looks like way better like WITHOUT getting all dolled up (like her peacekeeper look) than when she has all the mainstream beauty esque hair and jewelry etc.

Reading an anthology of mystery short stories. Trying to gel two story ideas into plots. Trying to cope with grandkids overdosing on Halloween candy Trying to make myself get an extra hour of sleep a night so I am not bumping into walls at 4:45 am when I have to get up to go to work.

Just watched Jerome Bixby's "The Man from Earth," starring . . . . . John Billingsley. Well, he wasn't the main characters, but he got top billing.
It's a brand NEW movie (I've got a review copy from my husband!) It is also advertised as "From an aclaimed writer of the original Star Trek and The Twilight Zone"
It was really good. I really can't do better than read you the quotes from the box, "Quietly restores dignity to science fiction of the mind."
Basically a bunch of college professors get together because one of their group is moving on and that guy makes a stunning announcement and everyone sits around talking trying to figure out whether it's true or their friend is crazy.
At the end of the night, one of the friends says something like, "I'm going home and I'm going to watch some Star Trek. Something that makes sense!"
