Probably not now if they were casting for an actual ROLE and posting the casting notice like on the free sites where people like me who don't have money or a good agent can see it, then I'd go... plus they're casting for skinny people (to play Vulcans)

First off, from what I've seen, you're not fat. Second off, even if you are, was Kov skinny?

I'm not fat but I'm still like 30 pounds overweight plus they did say they needed skinny "fit" people. And I'm not and besides it's extra work that according to the ad doesn't even pay nothing so what the frell, I mean like just because it's Trek?? Like give me an actual role even a small one I'll work for free. (And then you can save the money you'd have paid a "name" actress to play that role and pay it to the poor extras)

I did a double take when I read they're interested in "emaciated talent." That's just wrong.

The add might not but I used to live in LA, I know how word spreads in that city especially in acting circles.

Word travels fast on what films are filming and what ad's are for what film.

It's possible that T'Poptarts heard what the listing is for through the grape vine.

It was posted on the Trek news site well before she posted it here. They ask for people willing to have half their eyebrows shaved for Vulcan-type eyebrows, so it's pretty obvious that it's for the Star Trek movie.
