What a lovely photo, JT! :) The twins sure do have your hubby's smile, don't they?

Hope the two of you have a great 20th! :D

Here is some of my 11 year old's artwork. I think she has discovered her talent. I hope these are okay to post here. I left them as links.

What a beautiful history and family, JT! I've always believed that there's nothing like letters-- esp when it comes to relationships. Too bad those are slowly disappearing. Did you save your letters?

And Bether, your daughter's pictures are remarkably well-done for an 11 year old! (Maybe she can be outfitted with a nice set of artist's pencils/charcoals and a sketching pad for more encouragement? :D )

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Great pics, Beth. Make sure you keep those in a box forever and ever. The boys love to look back at their drawings, believe it or not. We used to make Chris draw a picture each day before he could go play and he happily did so! He was and is the amazing artist, with his twin brother right behind him. They even drew a lot of Star Trek pictures back then. I should find the picture of the Borg child. It was a collaborative effort that the whole family got in on. (Both me and my husband can draw.) My boys started laughing when we found it in a box. Apparently they had taken it to kindergarten and told everyone they did it themselves and the teacher didn't seem to believe their little white lie, but their friends were amazed. LOL.

Oh about the letters. I am a terrible speller and my handwriting is terrible, so I don't know how wonderful the letters were, but we mostly corresponded by cassette tape. We'd sit down and talk into a tape recorder for an hour and (play songs and stuff) and even get our friends to chat a little and drop the tape in the mail! (It was like a zillion dollars a minute to use the phone from Thailand to the United States.) Our cassette tape method of correspondence worked great.

Heh! I used to draw a lot as a kid. I drew a lot of space and sci-fi stuff. A lot of Star Trek (the original, since this was in the 70s). I'll have to dig out those pics sometime...

I like the artwork! Great talent is burgeoning!

Here's is the 1st snow of the season!

Aureilia standing on her toybox.

We changed the other day and gave her the big room with the view, and we took the wee chamber off the kitchen. Makes more sense. Now she can romp on the only carpet in the house.

She's quite taken with the snow and wants to go play. Course our front lawn is a septic soup masquerading as a normal lawn. We got the house cheap on account of that as there is mandatory hookup to city sewer anyhow over the next 7 months here. Who cares if the septic is crap (literally) if we are spending $4000 to connect to the sidewalk line in the spring? So.....don't really wanna go romp on the poo lawn.

We'll go down to the water's edge in a few hours and play there. :D
:!:
It's crazy here! We're still so tickled over it!
