I saw the episode of Stargate: Atlantis were Dr. Beckett died. So sad. At least he got a good send off, unlike a certain other character we know... But I wonder how he can be brought back after this!?

Then I saw the episode Purple Haze of Eureka and I nearly fainted when Allison Blake (Salli Richardson) showed herself in her underwear. It's hard to believe that's the body for a 40 year old, more like 25! Nice bum too! Now all I need is an episode where Jo shows her stuff... (So sue me, I'm shallow sometimes )

I've just seen the 3 hour extended version of David Lynch's Dune. I have to say it was pretty bad. I know the original version was quite incomprehensible to the uninitiated viewer, and that the longer version filled in more blanks (at the price of more exposition). But man, the editing of this extended cut was so sloppy, the sound horrible and the soundtrack didn't match at all.

Well, at least I got to see some filmed scenes I'd never seen before.

I still like the original Lynch version a lot, especially the aesthetics and design elements. While the modern TV movie was more true to the story, and longer, many of the designs looked ridiculous. However, despite that I kind of like this new one too.

Watching Man vs. Wild. Bear Grillis just did naked pushups (this is the 3rd ep I've seen him do this) in the middle of a patagonian ice field. Sometimes I think he just jumps into freezing lakes because he likes to strip down and do that.

At least it's not naked jumping jacks...

I just bought U2's new 20th anniversary anthology of their album The Joshua Tree. The second disk has the rare b sides from other U2 albums and concerts. Songs I've never heard before.I really like these songs alot.
