Nice photos of the boys, JT! Aw, kids need a hug when their teams loose.

EnterpirKayak, those look like legos for girls! Cool, and very colorful. A good suggestion for my two toddle grandkids because I have been wondering what to get them for holiday gifts this year!

Must be the small one then, huh?

A loss in double overtime had to be pretty tough. It looks like Paris was trying his best to put a smile on, despite the circumstances. That's admirable.

Nice pictures. :)

Linda: They are called Mega Blocks. You can get a huge sack of them at (evil) WalMart for $9. There's buses and trains and things too that fit the same system.

Here's some of the Bean's art! She's exactly 2 years 4 months yesterday. These pictures kind of scare me. She sits down and says "I'm'nna draw YOU Mommy!" and she grips her pen and does EYES and GLASSES and HAIR and a MOUTH and EVERYthing!

Image Image

Not a bad likeness! :guffaw:

And here's a cloud she drew:
Image

Both of these she produced all alone and showed them to us when done.

One day I know I'm going to look under her bed and find well-drafted blueprints containing detailed plans to overthrow her parental yoke and seize power in her tiny, talented hands.

Very talented child! Encourage her. She may become famous. She may one day support her parents! Remember, she will probably be choosing your nursing home fifty years from now, LOL. :?

This is my weapon, this is my gun... Oh, sorry. This is me on my birthday this summer with my newly purchased Type IV Enfield .303. I got this beauty at an auction sale on my birthday, and it's the first rifle I've ever owned, since technically the other firearms in the house are my dad's. The only downer about this is that the previous owner removed the wood that goes along the top of the barrel and discarded it, so f I get a replacement I'm going to have to artificially age it, and that would lower the value of the rifle if I ever sell it in the future. Not that I'm planning to or anything. The best thing about it is the action - it has to be the smoothest bolt action I've ever fired. 8)

8) No He isnt. :raspberry:
Not to shabby of a rifle Man. :raspberry: Even if it is a Brit gun.
I think your lucky to find any Military Bolt action with that much Wood left. :? Since just bout every Springfield, an Mauser Ive ever seen has had its Millitary style stock hacked up to look like a Hunting rifle.

Those Older style Bolts sure were Smooth.
Guess they had to be smooth, an fast. Since the Men first firing them had bullets flyin all around them.

8) BTW, Got any plans for that Ol GM truck?

Nice pic BTW. :)
TnT I love em. Very Happy

Yes, you all get to see what a fat bastard I am now. :?

As for the Chevy, yeah, I got that in 2000 and have been going to restore it since then but just haven't had the time or the money. I got as far as removing the engine and buying a new one and getting it almost ready to put in (went from a 328 to a 350). New engine has probably seized by now. :(

EVEN IF!? :) Enfield's a top notch rifle! :P Especially the .303 man, that's like, THE catridge of the first world war!

Impressive, CX, I really want an Enfield .303, I've looked at them as well for my first rifle.

Speaking of which - I've never fired a rifle before and on Friday I'm going to go out to some property with my step brother to fire his .300 win mag.

So pumped!

Planning an elk hunt or something? A 300 Win Mag's a little overkill for deer, don't ya think?

I don't think "overkill" would really matter unless we're talking something that would literally blow it apart. :P I'm guessing that he's going to be target shooting though, since deer season has been over for some time now. ;)
