Don't wosh for that! Don't. When my daughter got too old, it broke both our hearts. :(

Having our son come along gave all three of us a boost in morale. I made the season new again. Christmas isn't really Christmas without a child's sense of wonder.

I'm not going to do the Santa thing if I ever manage to successfully have a family and procreate. I was pretty disappointed one year to see my parents putting the presents from Santa under the tree. Besides, I have this whole thing against lying, and since I don't want any hypothetical children of mine to lie to me, I figure I might as well give them a good example to follow.

Well, I never really believed in Santa... I'm actually surprised that some kids do today, in this rational age and all... :?

Heh, I'm thinking how this might play out in a TnT family. Imagine if Trip wants to play Santa for T'Kids and T'Pol thinks she's married to a crazy person... "Santa Claus? That is NOT logical!" :vulcan:

All right folks, I'll be driving to my parents for Christmas tomorrow. They do have a computer but I don't know how often I can get online, and I haven't decided when I'll go back home. I don't have to be back at work until January 2nd.

So I wish you all a very Swedish GOD JUL! :D

Actually, I can see T'Pol bringing up the whole lying argument against Santa. "Curious. You have stated on multiple occasions that you wish to teach T'Mir the importance of honesty."

My parents didn't do Santa 'cause my mom didn't want to lie to me, but they also taught me to not go around telling other kids that Santa isn't real. I plan to do the same thing someday when I have children.

Hehe. More TnT Christmas fun:

T'Pol: "This stocking is twelve times larger than her stockings."

Trip: "Well, we'd never fit everything in one of her little socks."

T'Pol: "Please define 'everything.'"

Trip: "We have to get a chocolate Santa. Then some of those chocolate coins. Some gummy bears would be good too. A candy cane, one of those giant lollipops..." (he trails off in thought.)

T'Pol: "Is the intention to ensure that T'Mir develops a cavity before the new year?"

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Well If I ever (hopefully) have some kids, I plan to do the Santa thing with them.
Since it sure didnt hurt me any growin up. :?

 Although, I dont think Id tell them the one thing that my Mom told me an my sibs. That on Chrstmas Eve night, when the clock struck midnight, all the animals that were present at the stable where Christ was born can be found praying in barns, fields an pastures all over the world.

8) Although I do have to admit, Ive never bothered to diss prove that one.

I don't remember much being said about Santa when I was little, but we had a marvelous creche with lots of angels and shepherds and animals, and glorious Christmas trees. I never lacked for a sense of wonder. :D

Shouldn't there be an orange for down in the toe of the stocking? There was always one in the toe of mine. :D

Christmas was definitely mixed. Was and still am sick with a cold. Had my first ever pecan pie. Dog took a turn for the worst last night, though. About 0400 she had another stroke or seizure, and then she couldn't get back up again. It was pretty obvious that she wasn't going to make it until Friday like I'd planned, so as soon as the vet opened this morning we took her in and had her put down. Got her buried now on her bed and with her food dish about knee deep, so hopefully nothing will be able to get at her and eat on her, except maybe the worms and other bugs of course. Anyway, I'm taking the day off from work today, I'm sick anyway.
