Re: Randomness
So did you chime in that you are also a Trekker? And a Trek shipper? And a Trek fanfiction writer? And a Trek fanfiction archivist?...

Re: Randomness
They know I'm a Trekkie and an Enterprise fan, but I'm not completely out of the closet about the um . . romance writng. I'm an elected officer in a club of 500 people. I think I know why Hilary doesn't feel like talking about NAFTA.

I'm donating my body to science fiction.

Re: Randomness
What's wrong with romance writing? It's the only kind of fiction writing that is selling to speak of nowadays, according to what you see on the paperback shelves anyway.

Re: Randomness
Well, blacknblue, I cannot disagree with you!

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Re: Randomness
Ok, this is weird. Remember the documentary Life After People that aired on the History Channel that we talked about before? It's about what would happen to Earth if humans were to suddenly disappear. Quite intriguing program actually.
Anyway, there now seems to be another documentary called Aftermath - Population Zero, which has the exact same premise and, as far as I can tell, use CGI in much the same manner. This is currently airing on the National Geographic Channel.
I have just dl'ed it (in what must have been the shortest dl time I've ever had; 15 minutes for a file worth 700 MB in size, with a runtime of 1½ hours), so I haven't seen it yet. But they do seem eerily the same, down to the crumbling of the Eiffel Tower.
Now what are the odds of those two thinking about the same theme at the same time? I suspect foul play, industrial espionage of something.

She's got an awfully nice bum!
