A valid point.

Paris Hilton is an embarrassment. I sure hope I never meet her driving on the road. Jolene Blalock rocks!
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

Paris Hilton is a Jerk and I'm sick and tired of hearing about her on tv the internet on the cover of magazines at the checkout stands. She's got no talent and I don't understand why people think she's a celebrity or want to talk about her. Jolene does rock.

I believe I've said this before but it bears repeating - Paris Hilton is the proof that you don't have to be poor to be white trash!
She's got an awfully nice bum!

I watched her in House of Wax last night - I've never been so glad when a character in a movie dies in a gross fashion - amen!
And yes, I too have learned that Jolene (and Connor) does rock!

I, personally, in the depths of my own soul, have learned that there is something that will keep me off Ebay. Some of the time.

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Well, I'm starting to learn that I should probably refrain from posting entirely, because it seems like no matter what I say, it pisses someone off. It never fails, there's always some really sensative peson who reads something between the lines that isn't there and assumes that I'm somehow taking a jab at them no matter what it is I say, and if I try to clarify it only makes it worse.

^ And yet I seem to understand you loud and clear and respect your opinions. Keep posting, CX. You're still appreciated.

What have we learned from the T'nT sites?
That there aren't enough monkeys in space. Think of how much cooler Porthos could have been if he'd been a monkey...
Re: What have we learned from the T'nT sites?
Well that's that CX. You keep telling yourself that other people are sensitive instead of looking at the way you post, regardless of your intention.
I wasn't even all that upset, but the types of comparisons you were making didn't have appropriate connotations as far as I'm concerned. The topic should have stayed about the context of the book and the future of the stories that will be coming... not about what type of view is sad and who it can be compared to in your mind...
I won't be back to this board since I'm overly sensitive apparently. If that was the case I wouldn't still be at the freakin' TrekBBS. So I won't be bothering anyone here anymore. I'll just try to enjoy my ship elsewhere and if that doesn't work out then I'll enjoy it on my own outside of the fandom.
As a T/T fan, I feel this isn't a friendly place for me, so I shall take my leave of you all. I don't mean to be dramatic, but I've been in this fandom for three years and I never thought I'd feel like this about a T/T board. I'm just a bit surprised and saddened...
Good bye.

Tell you what.
I'm going to make new rules, then nobody will have anybody but me to have a problem with. Wanna hate me? Fine. But I'm tired of seeing personal grudges develop on these boards - boards designed for PEACEFUL exchange of IDEAS regarding TRIP AND T'POL. It's not a goddamn singles site, it's not a goddamn political forum, so standby for further clarification just what the hell we're here for, and if anybody wants to leave, feel free to do so.

Re: What have we learned from the T'nT sites?
I've learned that it's better to stay clear of political discussions.
Actually, I learned that way back in my TBBS days but the sentiment still stands.
