Uh, personal discipline fighting raging hormones. I wonder who's gonna win? That poor little aspirin between the legs, it's gotta be a little guy with amazing fortitude, LOL. Hey, where's the girl's father with that shot gun aimed right at the boyfriends forehead... or more to-the-point body parts? I hear tell that works better.

Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

She's so fulla crap. This story's already all over the place. If you read the Washington Post article on it, it is incredibly in-depth. The Major just realized that it makes his town a hot-spot for Division of Family Services to sweep in and make his town a headline, so I'm betting he's going around paying off these little girls with $10k of free neonatal care to get them to recant.
It was too detailed to not be true. It made too much sense and it sounded too much like exactly what stupid little 16 yr old girls I remember knowing when I was that age would do who didn't have a clue about the repercussions of having an actual baby.

I think for my generation and my gender I'm supposed to say somethin like, "Hate the game, not the playa," or "Let a playa play!"

Shotgun birth control sounds like it should work, but you're forgetting that horny teenagers are very "in the moment" creatures. Consequences don't even occur to them, so unless Papa's in the back seat with them with his gun when they're reaching for those zippers the threat of future harm won't phase them one bit. If you can't even make them slow down long enough to put on a condom, how are you going to threaten them long distance?

Re: Randomness
You can slow some of them down long enough to put on a condom. What you can't make them do is go into a store in their small town and buy a pack in front of other people. Most of them don't even want to be seen buying a box of tampons for God's sake. Abstinence education is a crock of hooey. Personally I think condoms should be as easy to get at school as hall passes. Or easier. Not to say you shouldn't warn them a condom isn't going to protect against stuff like herpes, but then again you can also get that if your grandma kisses you when she has a cold sore.

Oh yeah, no time to fit in any whoopie on a farm. My grandma Thelma Mae was a hardworking farm girl. Yep, she had my momma when she was sixteen and she HAD to marry my grandaddy...

LOL
My Mom's eldest sister got married at fifteen and had 14 children. It's all that fresh air and sunshine. Or maybe the constant inspiration from watching all the livestock.

Especially watching rabbits, Bnb? Rabbits are so enthusiastic in this area. That's why I got my pet rabbit fixed, or should I say 'broken' as I had one of my OC Vulcans put it.

Got my ID card today and now I can enjoy the little perks that come with it(digital identification and digital signature). Lessens the paperwork in some institutions.
