Interesting.
And, honestly, I think that the "Not Fraternization" rule is a little bit...unfounded. :?
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Well, on a long deep-space mission, things are gonna happen, as TnT proved. Starfleet had to revise the rules...probably by the time of TNG, it wasn't as much of an issue.

Okay, how 'bout another question:

How do you imagine Denobula (Phlox's home planet) to look like?

I think Denobulans have a role, in the galaxy.

Denobula would have lots of wilderness and wildlife, since Denobulan medicine seems to rely so much on animal products. Their society would be flamboyantly exuberant and varied, due to their extremely tolerant natures. Everything would be run by committee, so things would take a long time to get done, but when they were done, everyone would agree they were necessary. There would be no such thing as "single family" dwellings as humans would think of them. Everyone would live in these huge sprawling complexes of hundreds of people, all somehow related by marriage. Within the complex, privacy would be almost impossible to find, but when you had a problem you'd have people falling all over themselves trying to help you with it. Children would be raised by the community in the complex's one room schoolhouse, and every adult would take their turn teaching the children something useful. Maybe each complex would specialize in a certain field, so that trade and social interaction between extended family units would be fostered. Children that showed aptitude for some field that their family unit didn't do would be apprenticed to a family that was famed for that skill for further training similar to our college education, and so children would generally marry individuals who were interested in the same things they were interested in, since they would meet them during their apprenticeship, thus perpetuating the "one family, one profession or set of related professions" ideal.

I'm gonna quit now. This might start a fic and I don't have time for one now. 8)

Q: Bringing in a subject from another thread for a moment, I'd like to ask if you think it's reasonable that all of Earth's religions would have been eradicated by 2150...or, at least, that no one on a ship the size of Enterprise would EVER mention God or faith or any spiritual belief system at all. Was it just cowardice on the part of the writers that they didn't want to deal with the issue, an attempt to follow GR's posthumous wishes for the dawn of secular humanism, or a truly reasonable extrapolation of what is happening in today's society taken to the next level?

I tend to think schematically. 8)

An attempt to follow Roddenberry. Definitely NOT a reasonable extrapolation.

About Denobula, one thing I seem to recall is a mention by Phlox that it is a very crowded place, so I stipulate that there is only one smallish continent on that planet.

Q: Your favourite Starfleet uniform, any era?

I don't think humanity will ever completely abandon religion. Even if a majority do, which I rather doubt, certainly not everyone would.

I think the spiffiest uniforms are the late - DS9 era version, even if Jadzia's was tighter than the men's.

Question: Worst title for an episode, a) from ENT and b) any series?

The last episode's title was the worst, if only because we all so desperately wanted to add NOT at the end of it. Enterprise generally had good titles, if you ask me (better than the ep in quite a few cases).

Worst title: Spock's Brain. They should have gone right ahead and called it Bimbos from Outer Space.

One funky alien feature? Uh, Vulcan eyebrows. :vulcan: Vulcan ears are a bit much. :?
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

I think those Andorian feelers. They sound so able to make... feel. :D

Vulcans and humans just aren't that different. What would a Vulcan have to choose from? Rounded ears? Perish the thought! Horizontal eyebrows? T'Pol already had those for two seasons...
