Well, tomorrow I fly to London for a week (and meet up with my parents there).

Given that I'm a military and history buff, I plan on going to the Imperial War Museum, The Cabinet War Rooms with the Churchill Museum and the HMS Belfast. Maybe the British Museum as well. Since I now have a digital camera I'll post some pics when I get back, but I'll be offline until then.

I don't plan on buying much since 1) I didn't have as much money as I thought, and B) I have too much stuff anyway and there's not much room left at my apartment. Besides, I can get books online from home.

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Well, and African American cultural icons, specifically. I'm really glad that Morgan Freeman ended up being ok, but think about it, that would have been one too if he had died. But yeah, Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes. :( Somebody should be on 24/7 call watching Cedric the Entertainer :(

That's just cold, bro'!

But, hey, isn't the superstition that these things happen in threes?

I was going to say that but I didn't want to jinx it!

When my dog died the same day my long-time ex got married, everyone told me to be REALLY careful for the next 24 hours. I was in Houston at the time and driving back the next day. Well, I'm still here....

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, have you seen this http://gofugyourself.celebuzz.com/go_fug_yourself/2008/07/post_19.html? This is totally unfair! :o

*sigh* I'll change of subject... Two sci-fi series are being produced by Spanish television channels. One is called "Plutón BRBNero" (said "berbenero"; it's a Spanish play on words). It's a space sit-com (26 episodes of 35 minutes each one) and is a creation of Alex de la Iglesia (for most of you "Who?"). Here is the oficial blog: http://plutonbrbnero.blogspot.com/ (it's in Spanish, of course, but you can see some images). The other tv show is an adaptation of the famous series "Life on Mars". This two series are a milestone in Spanish TV, because we've never done sci-fi, our speciality are sit-coms of the costumbrism variant, like "Los Serrano" (sold to Italy as "I Cesaroni" and, apparently, very sucessful in countries like *gasp* Finland; by the way, where is bookworm?)
