Yep, 250 posts for Commander, 500 for Captain, etc. There's a thread in the Announcements forum listing the board ranks and how many posts you need for each. The rank structure is identical to TrekBBS's, so you can try for that 32,000 post (Fleet Admiral) mark again, KTR.

Heh! I know I made full Admiral over there, but now I can't remember how many posts I actually made, and thus how far I was from becoming a Fladmiral!

16,545 posts. I just happened to have that board open, so I checked... in other words, you were just barely over the threshhold for being an admiral.
Was this the army that invaded your country, ma'am? No, officer, they were taller than that...

How about this one? I'm not sure--get them to march up and down a bit...

Yeah, you made a lot of posts over there, KTR. I only had a little over 4300 posts in the just over a year I was actually posted over there.

Dang. I looked too, but I though maybe somebody else might have some more info. Yes, her stories are great. Some good plots, too. She crossed my mind because of some comments about the term "hotbunking" in another thread. She used it in the story with french name. She also wrote my very favorite future for our favorite couple.

Its in Alpha Waves. T'pol takes command of a ship of exploration, Trip is her chief engineer, and Hayes (Not Dead) signs on as chief of security.

"The Vulcan Scientific Exploration Vessel, T’Mir, was captained by T’Pol. Her hand-picked crew was the first fully integrated multi-species complement in the Vulcan fleet. Her First Office and Chief Engineer was the illustrious Charles Tucker III. Her security officer was a former MACO Colonel named Hayes. The research vessel was funded unofficially by the Vulcan Science Directorate.

But as Captain T”Pol had chosen an unknown Expanse as the subject, funding was also provided by special interest groups that understood the importance of intelligence gathering, but did not want to be seen to be gathering it.

It was an idyllic and anonymous life for mavericks and beings with secrets."

Intellegence gathering - why is that sounding so familiar? Very Happy

Come to think of it, she also used Trip as a spy- though not, of course, disquised as a Romulan. Smile

That lady in my room with her frelling alarm clock is like totally pissing me off. Mad I mean it really never wakes her up, and actually she's not even like supposed to wake up anyway but for some reason every single night she sets her frelling alarm for like 4am, and it goes off and in the rare cases she actually wakes up she just shuts the thing off and goes back to sleep (till like 9 or 10), like what the frell do you set it for anyway?? Mad Mad Mad But usually she doesn't even wake up, and if she does it's like after a really long time that the thing keeps beeping and beeping, but of course it wakes me up every single night and when I wake up it's really hard for me to fall asleep again because it takes me like 1-2 hours to fall asleep, well what does she care I mean she falls asleep as soon as her head hits the frelling pillow and she can sleep through anything, and I lose sleep because of her stupidity every single night Mad so if anyone wonders why all my fics are about sleep deprivation and alarm clocks I guess that's why. Confused Confused

In other news today I had my first peanut butter sandwich since I cold-turkeyed my peanut butter addiction. Because someone stole the manager's grocery bag and that was the only thing left to eat. Confused Don't think there's a chance of me ever getting addicted to peanut butter again though because it like totally made me gag and I couldn't even finish it. Confused Confused

I used to like peanut butter mixed with honey. Adams crunchy. On toast made of that bread that's got so many grains and seeds in it that you can hardly chew it. Mmmm...
Sorry about the alarm clock lady. Confused
