Re: Member pics
What charming a smile!

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

What a cutie.
And shoo, cat! Ours thought the crib was theirs too, when we first set it up.
Our (surviving) cat has picked up an odd habit of announcing with extremely loud, plaintive cries that he is about to sit down in whatever chair he's picked. It can be the middle of the night, you hear this deep-throated yow-owwl, yow-owwl, yow-owwl, nearly as loud as if he saw a male cat outside and was freaking out. I could be sitting at my office chair right next to him and he'll still do it, but he's not even talking to me, it's like he's yelling at whatever's on the table over there.
Also, for the first time in 17 years, he'll sometimes come sit on my lap. He's becoming quite the momma's boy in his senility. (And no, my lap hasn't gotten any bigger!!!)

Cats are good people. Rabbits are good people. My twelve pounder does not vocalize except for the occasional soft grunt of annoyance...with me. She does communicate. When she wants something she stands in the middle of the room so you can't miss her, with dignified RABBIT PRESENCE. It practically shouts "fill my food dish" or "scratch my head and neck" or "change my litter box". Humans are a bit slow on the uptake, but they eventually understand what the alpha being is training them to do.

Oh, by the way, don't mention the fact that she has only one ear. She is sensitive about that.
Oops, this should have gone in the pet thread. But, but, but...Alelou started it! She started talking about CATS.

Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

Okay, but only because Enterprikayak mentioned HER cat!!!
Here's the picture of my cat refusing to budge from my side (and eyeballing Trip, so it's topical):

Watching?
You mean tracking, as in preditor behavior, right?

I'm sure that having he playing football (=soccer) again is the best for him and for you too. I hope they win or something!
But I must say that a football (=soccer) game played on a rugby (= American football) field is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen

Three games and he twisted his knee . . . *sigh* He's out of soccer again, but for a good old honest sports injury. Somehow this doesn't seem as tragic.

Elessar says Hi! He told me to post this link. He says he is in Delta company, 4th platoon and that he "might" be in these pictures. It's going to be a little hard to find him. Everyone is bald.
I have to admit, I can't find him, but you all can try.
