Grendel's mother and Grendel are descendants of Cain. In Beowulf, Grendel invades Heorot, the mead-hall of the Danes, eats some of the men, and makes it uninhabitable due to the mass murdering he is doing as people are frightened to go there. Beowulf leaves Geatland to destroy Grendel, which he succeeds in doing. Beowulf goes down into Grendel's lair to kill Grendel's mother which after a long struggle underwater he succeeds in doing. After her death, Beowulf beheads Grendel, keeping the head as a trophy.

Can't wait for the next installment!
Any idea when you might have it up?

But, as you've established - they would fall apart without each other. Humm.... any battle with them seperated wouldn't go well for our heros. Which, of course, means you'll write it. ... dangit ... there goes my acid reflux ...
