Nah. I'm gonna use him as a Romulan. Cool

from wikipedia:
Grendel's mother and Grendel are descendants of Cain. In Beowulf, Grendel invades Heorot, the mead-hall of the Danes, eats some of the men, and makes it uninhabitable due to the mass murdering he is doing as people are frightened to go there. Beowulf leaves Geatland to destroy Grendel, which he succeeds in doing. Beowulf goes down into Grendel's lair to kill Grendel's mother which after a long struggle underwater he succeeds in doing. After her death, Beowulf beheads Grendel, keeping the head as a trophy.

So, who is Grendel? D'deridex? Casey? Or perhaps our Starfleet traitor? Or perhaps Casey is our Starfleet traitor? Grendel's Mother can be Mystery Chick from A5S3.

And who is Beowulf? Our Hero, Trip? Is he that vengeful? Archer? He's got nothing left to loose.

The possibilities abound!

Wow! Admiral Black is gone I'm glad he won't be infering with Trip &T'Pol anymore. And the federation politics are a mess. That Casey and his sppoks got rid of Harad Zar and that mysterious woman all you get is more questions of who is she and what is casey up to?

Ha!

So I finally got caught up...good thing I'm a speed reader! See I knew those years of reading boring Army reports would come in handy....because of the mundaneness of them I learned to breeze through them.....only problem now is that I tend to do that with everything I read. Confused

Sucks when it's something that I find interesting.

This last chapter you posted was really good! Can't wait for the next installment!

Any idea when you might have it up?

Hmmm ... that may actually explain the speed in which I read too. (11M, hooah)

Gah! I just finished this one! Shock

Seriously, I dunno. I'm trying to finish a Foundations episode or two before I start working on Endeavour: Grendel ... although I do pretty much have Grendel plotted out. Hoshi fans: I'm making it a point to have a Hoshi POV scene in all five acts since I can use her as the Outsider Looking In and reflecting on how much certain characters have changed. I've just got to find a way to keep Phlox from getting short shrift 'cause he's been AWOL for too long...

I like this line. It shows a mautity missing from the show.

Well done.

So do these weird memory flashbacks have anything to do with Archer's visit with Daniels perchance?

A melancholy end to a sad story - fitting.

I, like many others, like your Archer. He's growing up in a believable way.

I can see Trip reccomending T'Pol for her own command - even if he's dying inside at the same time. She wouldn't like it; neither would he, but he wouldn't want to be selfish. But, as you've established - they would fall apart without each other. Humm.... any battle with them seperated wouldn't go well for our heros. Which, of course, means you'll write it. ... dangit ... there goes my acid reflux ...

I like how you explained the discrepancy with Archer's father dying years apart. Very nice.

Yay! I'm a Hoshi fan, so I think I'll enjoy Grendel. Although, really, I enjoy all of them.

T'Pol doesn't even want her own command. Hmm, maybe xenophobia could work for TnT's advantage for once... Starfleet doesn't want to, from their own feelings or public feelings, put a Vulcan in command of a human ship.

An interesting idea ... I can neither confirm nor deny it, of course, but Jadzia is correct in pointing out that T'Pol (my T'Pol, anyway) doesn't want her own command. Yes, it may be illogical to the extreme and completely unfounded (depending upon one's opinion), but she still blames herself for the deaths at Azati Prime.

blackn'blue wrote:So do these weird memory flashbacks have anything to do with Archer's visit with Daniels perchance?

Not intentionally. As JadziaKathryn recognized, it was mostly an attempt to reconcile the season 4 Henry Archer death timeline, although HTH did theorize over at WWBJ that it might also be a little bit of memory bleedthrough, with T'Pol having met Henry Archer before his death. I may use that, but I dunno yet.
