Have you only ever found it here? I've never looked, but you should try the more standard merchants like Amazon and Ebay.

They only sell it in volumes rather than season set, and they most often cost at least $50 per volume.

Got a new pair of glasses today. My eyesight have actually improved slightly since I got my old glasses seven years ago. They told me it was normal when you get to be my age. Now I feel old...

My cat has to have dental surgery Monday morning and I'm going to be a nervous wreck until Monday afternoon when we get her back. The vet said that with older cats (she's 16) there's a slight risk they won't wake up from the anesthetic. And last time she didn't metabolize the anesthetic well and was walking into things all night. But she has this infected disintegrating mess of a tooth that simply has to go, poor baby.

I have a very old cat too. He is about that age, 16 or 17, and his name is Sonic. We are lucky he has not had any major health issues for some time but he has had on-and-off urinary tract infections before so he eats special food, but he doesn't like it. When our cocker spaniel, Generra, got to be about 16, the vet said just to let her have whatever she liked because eating carefully at that age just isn't worth it because they are way older than their life expectancy (for cockers anyway) so they might as well just enjoy things. I think also there's something to be said for them just living longer because they're happy. Generra died at 17 and had had tons of problems... she had 3 artificial ligaments in her legs, she'd had 3 strokes. One that was so bad she was walking in circles for like 3 days. it was so sad, we didn't think she'd ever come out of it, but amazingly, she did. The last one left her a little funny on the left side but nothing too bad. Teeth problems are terrible with animals though since they can't brush.

We feed Sonic lots of boiled chicken cut up into small pieces and Fancy Feast as well as his medical dry food for UTIs. I think he's happy

Awwww... poor cat.

We had a familiar meal today and my mother, as a dessert, has taken out polvorones. Well, I like "polvorones" very much, but we're in November, and they're a Christmas dessert. C'mon... What will be the next? Turrón?

16 is pretty good for a cat or a dog - my own went at 16. Don't know how old my cat is, but it probably won't be too much longer before he joins my dog.

My cat is home and doing very well. Unfortunately, there's a chance she could have mouth cancer. Hopefully it's just the years catching up with her. Anyway, they gave her the minimal amount of anesthesia and so now she's back to her usual self.
