True, until you find out they're from SONIC. :D

HEY! You know, remarkably, I have become something of an onion ring connoisseur and Sonic has the best onion rings around. Better than anywhere here.

There is a little restaurant around here (family owned) that makes their own - on site. You can tell that partially because they are not the same size. Darn things are wonderful. You go there, get the hamburger steak, onion rings, and a salad for lunch. You also get a discount coupon for your cardiologist. :)

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Just watched the XFiles movie. Glad I didn't pay full price for that. :doubt:

No, not much, alas. It was good to see Mulder and Scully together again, though.
Many have said that it's like a drawn-out episode of the show, but it reminds me more of an episode of Millennium.

I enjoyed it, but I find I have no desire to see it again now that it's on video.

Still, it's nicer to think of that as the ending for our heroes than the final ep of the series.

Re another series that ended up with a movie, I watched "Serenity" this week and after seeing all the deleted scenes I thought Whedon really just didn't want to let his baby go. He must have had enough there for a three and a half hour movie or four or five episodes. I thought it was a bit of a mess, structurally, though overall I enjoyed it.

However: tackiest tombstones ever!
OMG, ANOTHER new chapter! NORTH STAR Chapter 28

Well finished watching Journeyman last night. I liked it too bad it ended too soon. :( I still like Early Edition better though. It's funnier. And of course the KITTEH

Sorry.
Journeyman hasn't been displayed here.
So, I cannot say anything about it.

What are you listening to?

Isreal "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole. A very influential Hawaiian singer. You've probably heard his stuff and don't know it. Sadly he's been dead 10 years, but everyone performs his songs over and over in Hawaii. Here is a YouTube of his biggest hit:

And this is the same song with pictures of the man himself. He was obese and died of obesity. He was hugely popular in Hawaii, still is, and was in favor of Hawaiian independence. The final scene is his funeral which apparently thousands of people attended.

Live performance of "White Sandy Beach":

Another random song, but it's live and it's beautiful!

I'm donating my body to science fiction.
