Well my torrenting is going good, I had 2gb hit the deck in a little under an hour yesterday!

WHUT?!?! I'm STILL downloading Early Edition @ 69.4% I've been downloading with the cable in the last few days though because the frelling wi-fi has been DOWN all the frelling time. Wi-fi downloads are faster than my cable downloads. But that's only when the wi-fi's actually working of course.

lol... I started a blu ray rip of Dark Knight last night... 15 GB... it's 87.9% done

I currently have like 43.2GB free on HAL... because the hard drive is like 160GB (well way less than that of course as always, but anyway)

On C2 I probably have like 2GB or so free (because I moved all the downloads to HAL)

Downloading: X-Men TAS, X-Men: Evolution, and of course STILL Early Edition 74.3%

Doing: CRAMPING!!!

At my brother's house helping him get ready for the descent of the family on Christmas Eve.
Spent eight hours baking cookies to give as gifts.
Snickerdoodles, sugar cookies with sprinkles, oatmeal chocolate chip w/ macadamia nuts, and a new (to me) kind of gingersnap made with fresh grated ginger.m Hmm...it would have helped if the recipe had said they have to cool on the pan. They look like little miniature cowflops (they're supposed to - there was a photo) but they taste really good.

Ooo, that sounds like fun. I'm recovering from the Astronomy Club Christmas party. We had like 80 or 90 people. I was in charge of door prizes (everyone puts their name in a box and everyone gets a gift. First called gets first pick, last called gets last pick, everyone gets something.) I was also in charge of food, but since it's pot luck, there is nothing to do but worry. Also decorations. Well, it all worked out. Enough food, enouph door prizes for all! A good time was had by all. I rented a sound system that didn't work but, oh well . . .

Someone offered to cater the party next year and we took a vote to see if people wanted to switch over to a catered party next year and they voted "no". Everyone likes what we've been doing.

I am looking forward to this Saturday when I can sit back and just ENJOY a (family) Christmas party.
