My daughter entered one of her drawings in the local paper for a Christmas card contest they were having. Hers was published and was in yesterday's newspaper! :D

I don't have the original and I can never remember how to work my darn scanner. I will eventually. It definitely isn't her best stuff. I think she did it just to appease me, but was it still good enough to get in. I was putting newspapers together at work when I saw it in there. It was pretty cool. Not sure where her talent comes from. I can't even draw stick men very well. :lol:

My twins are like that. It's just kind of miraculous. In kindergarten, I entered them in a contest to draw a Birthday card for "Brownie the Burger" (who reminds you to cook your burgers until they are brown in the middle). LOL. Public health campaign. I told my babies, who really were babies at the time, "Win us these tickets!" (to an amusement park) and they did! :D :lol:
