Recuperating from the flu I was left watching a TV marathon of Veronica Mars today. I could do much worse trying to get better than watching the lovely Kristin Bell!

doing? Finishing some leftover chicken soup while recovering from my attempt to chip about an inch of ice off our front steps with 1. a snow shovel, 2. a straight hoe, 3. an edger, 4. A digging spade. I got maybe half of it up and my joints hurt from all that whacking.

Procrastinating. I should grab some lunch and clean up the living room and kitchen. We have a floating Monday Night Heroes party with the neighbors, and when there's no Heroes. it turns into Movie Night instead. Tonight it's at our house. But I don't want to clean, I don't want to do chores. I start a second job in a week and a half and I just want to enjoy my second-to-last Monday of freedom.

Gosh. That's starting to sound more like it's for the "whine thread." Sorry. My bad.

wow! Adult stuff!

Doing: Just finished up the first season of the Sopranos. Don't spoil anything for me. I know a few things because I caught an episode here and there when it was airing, and b/c it was so publicized, I unfortunately already saw the last few minutes of the series finale. I love it so far. I remembered it being a lot more gruesome and violent than it seems now, which is why I didn't include my mom in watching it. I might bring her in though, cuz it's not too bad. Plus the end of the season has made me happier b/c some of the douchebags I wanted to see get wacked finally are. yay for mob fairness!

Yeah, everyone's all right. It was pretty rough downtown, and on some villages on the mountains near the source. The scary part is that we had little quakes for nearly four more hours after the main one. I'm used to these things, but mom was pretty nervous the whole day. Things seem to have settled down for now.
