This is a great first chapter. You conveyed a lot of information in a very few words. Archer now knows there's a spy in Starfleet. And he's pissed. Stand back and turn him loose.

I loved Daniel's parting words. It reminded be of all those murder mysteries where some stupid fool puts 2+2 together and gets four then proceeds to an isolated place to call the detective. He gets as far as, "I know who the murderer is. It's..." and the phone goes dead. The detective now has 2 bodies instead of one.

LOL. I just watched a John Wayne movie like that last week...

At least Daniels gets to come back in 70 years. If Archer's lucky, he'll be long gone by then, and Daniels will be someone else's problem.

...and at least Captain Kirk would have the sense not to put up with him.

Yep. But I got to see someone actually punch Daniels in the face like he deserves...

Unless he was lying through his teeth to manipulate Archer. I'm just sayin'...

Heh. Or maybe Archer will still be around and punch Daniels in the face again. That'd be funny, seeing Daniels get his ass kicked by a 110-120 year old guy. Come on ... admit it ... you wanna see that too.

I want to know why Archer conceals the name of the traitor. (Well, first I want to know who the traitor is, but after I want to know why Archer protects him/her.) I mean, why protect a traitor???

*sigh* Once again, Rigil gives more answers than questions. But it's such a good story.

Heh. Unlike the guys who do shows like Lost, though, I do have answers. It's just gonna take a bit to get to 'em...

I'd say he protects the traitor's name because it's rather earth-shattering information and would cause rifts in the whole newly-born Federation which will come from the aftermath of the war if the information gets out.

Nice new scene, Rigil. Loved how Archer decked Daniels... Laughing
Was this the army that invaded your country, ma'am? No, officer, they were taller than that...

How about this one? I'm not sure--get them to march up and down a bit...

im holding out reading the fic till its finished. I really enjoy reading Rigils stuff. Very Happy I just like how he pulls together the names of the romulans. I can honsetly say that the Romulans were one of my favorite species in Star Trek. Followed closely by the BORG. Resistance is futile.

Honestly, that was the entire point of the scene. Well ... that and to relate some information and some hints.

Act One, Scene Two is up.
