In every theater of war and on the home front.

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Here's that Voyager parody I told you about.
WARNING: The Archivist rated it NC-17 because of the foul language in the story. And I agree with her assessment of the situation. If you don't like NC-17 fiction that isn't exacly erotica, I highly recommend you stay away.
Summary: Kes catches a viral strain of Tourette's Syndrome.
Interesting. Gonna go wash my brain out with soap now. See ya!

Re: Randomness
What's the point in getting a burger if it doesn't have dead cow in it?

LOL
I know it's odd.....but due to a medical condition I basically HAD to become a vegetarian recently.
At least the veggie burgers aren't too bad.

My God ... that's like a fate worse than death! Who did you honk off in a previous life? *shudders at the thought of having to become a vegetarian...*

I could do it as long as crawfish don't count as meat. I WON'T give up my crawfish.

Re: Randomness
^ Honestly it's not too bad. Hard to believe I know!
I just thank the god's I'm not still in the military......on second thought the Veggie MRE's weren't too bad.....well at least most of them weren't. I thought they were better than the ones with meat in them. I have no idea what kind of meat they packaged with them.....but it was not meat!
You could....if you were a Pescetarianism, or Pesco-vegetarian.

Re: Randomness
Heh. MREs. "Meals, Ready to Eat." Three lies in one.
Of course, that's based on the ones that were service when I was active duty (90-94) and those were pretty foul. Omelet with Ham leaps to mind. *shudders*

^ Yeah they were pretty bad while I was active. 1999-2003 BUT the veggie ones I could eat in a pinch.

Re: Randomness
Were those crackers still in the MREs when you were active? The ones that absolutely no one could eat without water? During Desert Shield, when my unit wasn't having scorpion wars, we had competitions to see who could eat the most of the crackers without having to resort to water. I never saw anyone who could actually finish them both.
Ah ... good times...

Re: Randomness
Yup.....I remember one time my unit ran out of MRE's SOOOOOO guess who got stuck having crackers for lunch.
I managed to scrounge up some peanut butter spread so that helped me choke them down.....but not with out a canteen of water!
Boy was I pissed!

Re: Randomness
Heh, I love MREs, and everyone I know who's actually had them likes them, except for the beef patty and the meatloaf (which are actually the same). I still have some find memories or trading various food items around to get the meal you really wanted (because everyone had their favorite items). I liked both kind of crackers myself, especially with the nacho cheese that came ina squeeze tube, and the chocolate pound cake was frakkin awesome.
I think my favorite meal was the chili and macaroni.
