Re: T'Pol's Un-Vulcan Like Behavior
How does she know he loves her he never told her how he felt in words. She had no experience with a male/female relationship Vulcan or human and he was gun-shy about putting himself out there. I never got the feeling that either of them had taken that step. During the Terra Prime when he said he was tired of the bond and she agrees with him it's obvious they hadn't done much work on things. The final scene left me feeling as if they were committed to each other and a future together. T'Pol made a human gesture by putting her hand under his. To me that was the beginning of her understanding of what it was going to take for them to be together.

Silverbullet how do we know she never did anything or said anything in private. They did neuro-pressure and talked and when she invited him to go home with her he implied there had been more going on between them than what we saw on screen.

Right.
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Yeah I don't think they were sleeping together during Home after all she was a recovering addict. But it was obvious they had some sort of understanding atthat point. She didn't just bring him home to go sightseeing.

Re: T'Pol's Un-Vulcan Like Behavior
Lunch and Library. I am blind in my right eye. so, my wife reads the new Audio books titles to me and if it sounds interesting I get it and listen to it.
I must at time rest my left eye. It carries the wole load and if I put to much strain onit all I can see is a blur.
So, I took a breather.
The reason I thought T-Pol took Trip to Vulcan was to meet Mom. for Mom to give Trip the once over and hopefully approve of him in some way perhaps not in the way that T-Pol intended but enough so that T-Pol could get Trip on the plains of fire and unload her love for
him and her hopes for the future.
That would give Trip the opening he would need to declare his love and perhaps propose to her. they could leave Vulcan engaged if nothing else with the wedding in the furure.
Koss through me for a loop. Could not see that for any reason.
Added Mom seemed like the Dog in the Manger. she lied to t-Pol she shoved Koss at her constantly. she made t-Pol feel guilty for her loss of positon at the acadamy. all in all Mom seemed to be hand in glove with Koss.
Hated HOme.

I'll agree with half of that. Still don't think T'Les is evil, probably never will.

Re: T'Pol's Un-Vulcan Like Behavior
See my comments in the other thread.
I HATE mom with a passion.
What she is capable of.
Wait until you see home. Watch mom and not the other actors. You will see
what I mean. then watch the eipisode. Your heart will break for TnT. I so much wanted trip to get T-Pol the hell of vulcan before she made the mistake of marrying Koss even if he had to kidnap her. She may have hated him for it but she would have been better off.
Koss would not take her then and Mom would have to go to the forge as she planned anyway.

Re: T'Pol's Un-Vulcan Like Behavior
Warpgirl something confuses me about your statements about T'Pol not being very Vulcan and Spock being the epitome of what a Vulcan should be. Spock was always one of my favorite ST characters. But there were several instances when Spock was not very Vulcan with Kirk mostly and even at times with McCoy. He was not always the rational, logical Vulcan which I always thought was his human nature coming through.
An example being during Amok time when he told Kirk and McCoy about Pon Farr after saying it was not discussed even amongst Vulcans. I could see him telling McCoy the most basic of facts as the doctor and so McCoy could devise a medical reason to go to Vulcan but telling Kirk was all about friendship.
And the expanse time doesn't count because the writers went out of their way to make T'Pol something but it wasn't human or Vulcan as far as I can see. Other than being emotional in seasons 1 and 2 she seemed to be not much different and sometimes even more tolerant of humans than most of the other Vulcans we see on ST.

Re: T'Pol's Un-Vulcan Like Behavior
As someone among us knows, I don't understand this need to make T'Pol, or Spock or whichever you want, Vulcan. As Kirk, or Archer, or whichever you want, Human. What means that? They are who they are. People of Space. Any individual is unique.
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Re: T'Pol's Un-Vulcan Like Behavior
OK How do I explain this... First of all I don't consider Spock to be the epitomy of Vulcaness, I leave that to Sarek. And no I don't have a problem with T'Pol having emotions or expressing them. But I have a HUGE problem with the way she did it. Sarek was controled (when not sick with the Bendii syndrome) he didn't rant or rave, burst into tears, he was balanced. He had emotions but they were tighly regulated he never gave up reason. T'Pol did on more than one occasion and I really hate that.
ASSO You're Italian, can you be anything but Italian? Could you be Japanese, or African? Can T'Pol be anything other than Vulcan? You're not making any sense dear.

Re: T'Pol's Un-Vulcan Like Behavior
But your culture has a bearing on who you are because it determines many aspects of your personality, mindset, and values. You're Italian and trust me you see the world in many different ways than I do simply because of your nationality. Perhaps also because of one's religion. If this weren't true we'd all live in one global country and there wouldn't be war.

Okay. Enough now. I'm tired of that. Arguing is beautiful, but it has to have some aim. And it's necessary that people want to hear each other.
Maybe I can sound a little bitter, perhaps also slightly harsh, and in this case, I beg pardon to everyone.
I will return when I will be capable of being sweeter.
