So I feel kind of guilty feeling happy about this, in light of everything that's going on with Mr. Boo, but in spite of it all, I managed to pull off a 94% on Monday's history test. I'm in a 4-way tie for the top score. On top of that, the prof was unhappy with the class average, so he gave everyone 5 extra points to bring it up--my 94 is now a 99.

That's AWESOME! Congrads. And I'm certain that you being happy will raise Mr. Boo's spirits tremendously. Cats are very empathetic to their humans, it's all I can do to keep Juhani off of me if I'm all emotional in any sense. It's not that I don't want her one me, it's just sometimes she gets in the way.

This is quite true. I suppose instead of feeling guilty over my success, I should channel it into the general positive vibrations I'm trying to send him so he can at least be comfortable and content.

Way to go Aquarius!
My computer died on Wednesday and I finally am back on line, on a new, faster and better laptop!!!! The bad part of this is that I lost all of my emails from before November 4th and all the emails in my contacts on Outlook. Apparently there are bugs with Windows 7 and the mail program that comes with it that mess up Outlook. But it's good to be back! and I have a scanner finally, too.
