I seem to remmber that I fattened him at someone else's request.

So today, Aureilia goes, "Can we do a craft? Can I make a Christmas tree out of paper?" And I said, "What if we just put up the *real* tree?" And her eyes bugged out of her head. So up it went. You'll notice that the bottom 2/5 of the tree is empty. That is because of the GRABigail my one year old.

Marion Blackberries play a prominent roll in one of Ragua's wonderful fics. Whatever happened to them I don't know. OK this is one of those times where I get the joke, but don't understand why it's funny.

Because to me, crack is inherently funny...as are people who do it...especially when they're the MAYOR, caught doing it, and get re-elected...and especially if the people who elected him are gonna wonder why their city is so f'd up...and especially if there's the implication that there's a PIE named after him.

You don't have to agree. I just find my world more interesting for thinking so.

I guess we just don't get that many Marion Berries in Michigan, then. I'd never heard of them before, and my ex and my neighbors also thought it was hilarious. Everyone we've shown it to around here thought "crackhead mayor" before anything else, so maybe it's a regional thing?

It strikes me as weird, too. I never heard of marion berries either. I have of course heard of Marion Berry.

I expect a full report on what they taste like after you eat the pie.
