Could be a sty, but I used to get bitten by grey spiders on my eyelid in my sleep fairly often as a kid in Florida, especially when my parents had me sleeping in the old pantry. (Don't ask.) It goes away pretty fast.

Ugh, I just got a nasty bugbite inside my sleeve and a nasty rash is breaking out. I think that spider that bit Elessar came through the Internet to get me.

More likely, some bug came in from raking yesterday and decided to hang out in my office for a day before taking its revenge.

Aw come on you know I can't spell. However Anachronims and I don't usually get along either. I'm always scratiching my head at them. Still I never claimed to be a good speller.

Ew! You have spiders in your bedrooms? I've never experienced that. Maybe it's the climate.

There are spiders everywhere here. And I never look at them I can't or blood-pressure spikes high.

You kind of can't avoid it in Michigan. They sneak inside however they can when the weather cools off for the winter. They never bothered me before, because I know they keep the population of other bugs down, but when they start making lunch out of ME I'm not cool with that! :(

I hate spiders... I can kill them, idk if you'd say I have arachnophobia in that sense... but I hate them! I was bitten by a black widow when I was like 6 and went to the hospital :doubt:

YIKES! OK my whine I hate when it's cold outside and no snow. Snow makes everything all sparkely and pretty so I can deal with winter when there is snow. No snow, it's just COLD and I hate cold. So I'm pouting like an idiot.

That'd be my whine now too! I hate the snow as well, but it's actually more managable when there is snow and the temperature is moderate enough not to stick it onto everything. Now, despite no snow, I still have to scrape the frakkin' windows of my car and I hate that. :banghead:

Well, I like it, at least before everything freezes solid. I can rake and do stuff out there like work on new beds or my never-ending garden path plan and it's not hot and there are no bugs.

Of course it will freeze solid out there any day now. I agree that once you're below freezing, it's just annoying not to get any snow to go along with it.

I let some leeks go to seed and they've sprouted. Now the question is -- do leek sprouts survive the winter? Guess I'll find out. Maybe I'll throw some in the cold frame just in case they don't.

I would, I can't be sure but I don't think leeks are a winter crop. On LI they grow like weeds in the late spring early summer.
