OK happy news mama got a cat to take care of the mice. So daddy will have a pet and hopefully be less annoying.

I think I'd be happy simply to get rid of the mice...

I think I just picked up another class next semester -- which means I now have TWO completely new preps to do over the break. But since it's a lit class, I'm happy.

The income doesn't hurt either.

:guffaw: If it's a girl please tell, I haven't really had anyone to tease in that department in ages. Dang everybody I know is either married and pregnant or sworn to be forever bachelors. Those however who are married decided 2010 was going to be baby year.

Except for the required office Christmas luncheon tomorrow, I'm off work until January 4th. :happyjump: :happyjump: :happyjump:

I also have a Christmas party to put on for umpteen people in TWO DAYS and my house is a mess and I still have to bake the bread and cook the gumbo and clean and decorate and all kinds of stuff!!! *rushes off frantically to the grocery store*

yeah we got HOSED this year on holiday vacation. I'm working every day except Christmas, possibly Christmas Eve if it gets approved, and New Years Day. Well, then I decided to take a week Jan 8 -13 to go see my dad and nieces. That'll be nice... but I wish I could've done it over christmas. They didn't tell us soon enough for me to book it without it being astronomically expensive. Apparently we didn't make enough money this year :neutral: but you should see all the waste. We just GIVE $700 cameras away when they break because 1. our vendor blows and 2. our salesmen blow.

I have become thoroughly convinced that the entire technical support industry has evolved into a "catch all" slop fest for "never-intended-to-work-the-way-we-advertised-in-the-first-place."

Just taught my last classes of the semester.

Now I just have to finish grading...

And plan two brand-new classes for next semester.

And fix everything I did wrong this semester for the same class.

Oh yeah, and do Christmas.
