Clothes with hidden enhancers of all shapes and sizes!). Only one problem. Now that I look like a million bucks from the neck down, what am I gonna do about the FACE? Confused

Yuk. I'm seriously considering a paper bag. Or maybe a face lift. It's hell to be over forty. Bitch

Ah, but see, you could be young and not be able to afford a summer wardrobe.

Wow. A real person who fits into Victoria's Secret clothes. And I thought it was just my twiggy best friend. Then again, even if the tiny low-cut shirts didn't make me look like a prostitute looking for work, I couldn't afford them.

At least you have an ass. Pity those of us who are buttock deficient. We of the bony backsides who must suffer lacerations whenever we are forced to sit on wooden chairs, we who must suffer the incessant indignity of having the back of our pants spanking us with every step we take, we are the true unfortunates of the world. At least your pants will stay up.

I don't need a big fat ass for that though. A well-proportionate ass would do just fine Confused

If it's any consolation, not all women care about a guy's ass. I could care less about butt proportion. It's all about the chest and arms. Smile Personally, I gave up on my appearance a long time ago. I'm average and I'm okay with that. At least I know that those few who have stuck around have done it because of me inside and not because I'm a beauty queen.

Nice to 'see' you, Bether!

I could never be a beauty queen anyway. I like actual food, not itty-bitty salads.

Sorry I decompensated there, guys. I'd just been waiting for my clothes for a couple of weeks, and I guess I sort of had unrealistic expectations of how I'd look in them. And they really look pretty good, you know? But...did you ever make fun of the old ladies with the wrinkled faces and the long jet black hair pushing their walkers with their mini-skirts and go go boots on when you were kid? (Guess I'm dating myself again, huh?) I did. I remember I used to think "What the heck is she trying to prove?" when I saw someone like that. Well... with a good hair dye job to cover the grey I can still probably pull off the Victoria's Secret look if no one really gets too close, but when I tried on those clothes I just had this vision of myself in a couple of years, and it wasn't pretty. I'm better now, though. I've resolved to enjoy my last Victoria's Secret summer. Cool

Hey, girl, you looked better than some teenage models in your MU T'Pol outfit a year ago at that convention! Don't tell me you have deteriorated much from that. Wear whatever you want. Any negative reactions you get are probably pure envy!
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

Distracted, go right ahead and look old in the face. You've earned it! I've earned it! We've all earned it! So I'm starting to look like my Aunt Faith. But I LIKE my Aunt Faith. And there are always restraunts with low lighting, where we can have yet one more romantic dinner as beautiful people--way into our sixties at least.

Wave Right back at all of you! Looks like I have a lot of reading to catch up on. And what happened to the poetry section, folks? It looks all lonely and dried up. Sad What's up with that?

Well, I wrote a sort of "Enterprise Good Night Moon" but I didn't actually submit it. I'm not sure how many people know the original. Also, poetry gets little respect around here. Maybe an epic on the Romulan War - in Homeric verse... Very Happy Iambic pentameter...as if it were being recited on a generational starship headed for Andromeda...hmmm...maybe Rigil would let us base it on his stories, and each poet could take a chapter...anyone for blank verse?

Perhaps someone should make up a new challenge. You, perhaps? Very Happy

To me, "beauty" is in the heart anyway, not the skin. If you feel it, you are it. Maybe I should just go and work on that poetry page or something. Rolling Eyes
