So, It's quarter to midnight right now in the lazy time zone....I was lying in bed, almost asleep (Priso's at work), when I heard this weird intermittent noise. I get up, and listen. Sounds like a bobcat is eating one of my goats or something. So I stood by the door, mulling over whether I should go out there in the scary dark, and I can't find the flashlight, but we do have lights in the yard...so I got the old coat and boots on, and on a hunch, I put my camera in my pocket. Open the goat shed, and there's this busy quiet maa-aa-ing going on (usually they don't vocalise much) and the Toggenburg goat is licking something in the dark. I took out the camera and flashed a picture, and this is what I got:

Disgusting but cute, hey???

They'd told us she "might" be pregnant back when we got her in Sep, but.....wow! Yeah! She was! :shock:

Mate him next year to the crazed auntie...they're not related. Then the stupid white goat will at least give us a baby and some milk. She's a mental case. lol

None of these are fainters. These are just regular.

Turns out after watching a few YouTubes on the subject, milking isn't hard at all. I can do it! I'm so proud of my farmy self! :lol:
