Hmm. Why there be no wet willies in Star Trek? With all those funky alien ears I'd be all over them things...

The Brig would be my assigned quarters and no alien would want to guard me.

Actually, you wet-willied your professors on final exam day at the academy and they never let you on the ship.

Not redundant, I hope.
I wouldn't trust James Dixon's timeline. That is his pet project that has been thoroughly disproved by canon, which has lead him to denounce a good portion of modern Trek. He especially harbours a hatred of ENT, which of course contradicted his precious timeline. He's gotten quite... vocal in his dislikes, especially of the Okudas. He's also been booted off the TrekBBS for being so... vocal (I am using a very diplomatic language here).

Hmmm. I guess i'll leave it on at trekref.info, but I'll put a note.
although, rereading your post, if he's so "vocal" maybe he'd be vocal about my note. so i'm gonna take it off altogether.

^ You're taking off the entire link?
Perhaps it's just as well. His dates just don't match up with what most others, including Trek writers and producers, use. IIRC he puts TOS 40 years earlier than what is now established in canon.

Which do you feel is the most reliable timeline? I note that there are many.

The Okuda chronology, since that is what Trek writers and producers have been using. I'm sure there are some mistakes in it, but it is the one that is mostly correct. It takes canon into account and otherwise uses qualified guesses. And since Mike and Denise Okuda have been part of the official franchise for so long, their chronology is as official as we can get.

Re: The Official Trekwriter Research Resource Spot
I will go along with the Okuda chronology. That couple has earned a respected place in Trek.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.
Re: The Official Trekwriter Research Resource Spot
The Okudas are very knowledgeable and that guy hating the Okudas I hadn't heard about it or the fact he was being booted off Trekbbs. I saw that he boasted about his timeline on the bbs.Pretty longwinded about it in fact.I like the Chronology of the future I have that book and wish it would be updated with Enterprise's info from all four seasons it's a great book.
