Emily just turned 14 a few weeks ago. She is very shy, but she really expresses herself well through her drawings. She especially loves drawing cats.

we're just marvelling at the cat picture right now. How did she do the white whiskers in the shadow of the body? Amaaaaaaaazing.

We didn't know our psycho Saanen goat was pregnant, and we were looking at her last night and saying,. "Wow she's fat. She must be pregnant." So we made up a nice stall for her in the barn with hay and everything.

And today at 3 pm she had TWIN GIRLS! Which on a farm = yeehah! Two girl goats!

One of the fainting goats is the father. She spent like 5 minutes with him on Halloween. He's way shorter than her and she kept trying to gore him with her horns (which have been removed). But he ain't called Zorro for nothing. He's a virile tiny goat. He just needs 5 seconds. Baaa.

I guess he's not so wee anymore. His daughter went with him. And yet I still think of him as a 12-year-old...

That pile of stones is a cairn. (My father's middle name is Cairncross.)

Cool. I was about to ask, "What is a cairn?" when I realized I should just google it. From Wikipedia:
