But, I decided to buy a $14 pyrex ice tea pitcher with a built in place for the ice at kitchen kapers, some local honey, tea bags - and boom. I don't need to buy that ice tea any more. First batch worked fine, and isn't as sweet as the kind from the grocery store, which is good.

I think that might knock $10 off my weekly grocery bill.

Tea is wonderful, but if I drink too much regular tea I can't sleep. I prefer South African Rooibos. It's caffeine free and has a wonderful rich flavor with honey or turbinado sugar. I usually drink it hot, but it tastes good cold, too. I couldn't find it at the supermarket but I just ordered another box of 80 teabags from a South African grocery importer through Amazon. The box cost 7 bucks, which is more expensive than regular tea bags but a lot cheaper than bottled tea. And I can sleep. 8)

I love Roobios tea - I have some Vanilla and Peppermint varieties. I'll definitely give a go at making some ice tea with that.

My first batch was honey green - not as caffeinated as black but still a little buzzy.

I attended a extras Casting Call for Transformers 3 today. I waited outside, standing in the sun for 5 hours in rather uncomfortable shoes. (but they looked great - the casting director asked me where I got them). I am tired, and sunburned and excited! I hope they hire me. I think it would be fun and it wouold be nice to make a little extra cash. I haven't had a paying job in almost 7 years!

Cool! My internet is acting up again. The parents promised Vonage, I'm going to have to drag it out of them!

Good luck, girlfriend!

Extras seem to be the one thing they hire on a regular basis in Detroit.

Have you looked into it? It seems like a lot of fun. I know quite a few people who were cast as extras in the past. Some of them got MAJOR screen time! Chicago is really busy right now. "Transformers 3," the next "Batman," a new series called
"Ride Along......" Lots of work available.

I also signed up with an agency. My schedule is very flexible. I have a lot of free time. I'm not looking for stardom, just a little extra cash and something fun to do.

Not really. You have to have a pretty open availability, and with two jobs and/or school at any given time, it's just not possible. :( I'd love to try it though.

Why? You're georgeous as you are... Well I hope you don't use a tanning bed, CNN did a whole in depth report about how bad those things are. To tell the truth I'd just do it the old fashioned way. How can skin dye be healthy?

NO TANNING BED FOR ME!
Three years ago I have a chunk of my thigh cut out because I had squamous cell skin cancer. And yes, I used to go the tanning beds. :banghead:
