Yeah, obesity is a big problem with Native people where I live too. My daughter and her aunt both have this problem and diabities seems to go along with it.

Dunno about it being in one area or not but I put Salt on my Watermelon, Grapefruit and Canteloupe. Only Lemon I have tried was in Lemoade or pie. Of course, when I was young i would cover my food with salt until it was white. Not good.

Sadly... Tonight is the season finale of Burn Notice, so not so thrilled and waiting for January. But one good thing about it is a marathon today, and a re-run of my favorite episode this season. LEMON. while on FF Net i n the M section I came across something I had not seen before Lemon. It seems to be threesomes. M/F/M F/M/F M/M/M Didn't see any F/F/F There was slash Lemon featuring T/A/R and or T. Much of it also featured T'Pol with Trip and Archer or Archer/T'Pol and whomever.

anyone know anythihg about hthhis? I didn't read any of it so I am not too sure of what it is: smut? or friendship.

I've never been completely sure what lemon is either, or why it's called that, but if it's in the M section of ff.net, it's probably highly graphic smut.

Lemon is a term that comes from the anime fandom scene, and it indicates explicit sexuality. So, I'm guessing those fics you are looking at depict characters in sexual threesomes as well as other permutations. All plot driven, I am sure.

One of the things I like about the Warp 5 Complex, is they they have separate sections not only for pairings, but slash/het and three or more. That way, nobody wanders into a fic without realizing what they are reading. That makes for a more inclusive community.

Oh, okay I know about Hetrosexual, Homosexual and switch hitters. But never being one to share threesomes or more never appealed to me. Never tried it or wanted to. Always seemed a bit too much. Kind like "go find your own girl." thing.

I am not a prude, far from it but ome things just aren't my cup of tea and three or more is one of those. Perhpas I am selfish.

Well, if three or more were someone's cup of tea, I certainly wouldn't expect him or her to announce it here in the forum. Probably the less said, the better.

However, I'll admit to enjoying a few of those fics. I call it broadening my literary horizons.

Although, I confess to being surprised, when I did my article on people living in three-way marriages, how much crossover there was between that subculture and fandom, trek and otherwise. And lots of my subjects hung out at Renaissance Fairs, too. That's why I love journalism, you get to find out about worlds you never knew existed.

I talked to one guy who lives in a big house with his three wives. This was one of the situations that I thought was very dark, didn't get a good vibe from the guy at all. He controlled what the household watched. All five trek series were on his approved list. While I encountered several group marriages that appeared to me to function well - that one did not. It looked more like a cult.

He was only married to one of his wives, so no laws broken. The polygamists in Utah do that as well.

This is a little different from religious polygamy - since group sex was part of the "norm" and the group marriage was undertaken for philosophical rather than religious reasons.

It's interesting, in all the groups I spoke to (11 in all), there was always a person who was the leader/spokesperson for each group - and in various groups I found that that person could be either male or female.

Truthfully, it's very rare that any of these arrangements work for the long term, but I did talk to one group that had been together for 15 years.

I conferenced the article this summer, and if I ever get it published - I'll let everyone know. It's funny. Most people who read it didn't care so much for about sex, but everyone was interested in how the logistics of a group marriage would work. You know, bathroom sharing, who gets to be the public spouse, closet space. . .that kind of thing.

Pornography is probably one of the most boring of all writing. It has been done to death over the centures. It is as original as a grain of sand on a beach. Even when it sinks into the deparavity of Kiddie Porn, Incest and beastiality it is boring because there is such a limit to what can be done with it.

Read a study once on Porn and the conclusion was that it was something that people might try once or twice but that would be it some would be hooked on it. I am not sure if Porn and a well written smut story are in the same category. Smut doesn't always depend on the sex part but leading up to it and the participants. good smut to my mind contains love of the the two participants. Porn doesn't matter if the participants know one another or not it is just pure Sex.

Visaul Porn is much the same. Can only be so much depicted before repition sets in. It too is boring. Sex to my mind is not a spectator sport.

Live shows. I have seen them when blotto and out with some guys on a lark. If you are curious ask JT I told her what I had seen once.

There once ws a film called Pink flamingos. Raunchy as Hell. It was a game to see if anyoone could sit through the whole film. Took a very strong stomach to sit through half of it. Not sure I ever knew anyone who sat through the whooole film. but it wsn''t Porn it was just stomach wrenching filth.

And now, the director of Pink Flamingos, John Waters is a beloved Native Son of Baltimore and makes family-friendly Broadway musicals from his less raunchy films such as Cry Baby and the big hit Hairspray.

I saw Mr. Waters a few times when I was in graduate school. Baltimore is a small town, and he is out and about often.

edited to add: I used to love John Waters's Christmas appearances on Letterman. A group puts out the most dangerous toys list every Christmas, and John Waters collects them all and would go on Letterman to show them off.
