"Guess Who" Drabble Challenge

Cogito, great drabble. Now, turn it into a missing scene story. I have thought of it at times. What if T'Pol goes back and T'Pold scolds her for not admitting her love for Trip. So, there you go a start for your story.

I tried my hardest to make it ambiguous, and I'm quite smug that Distracted guessed wrong at the first attempt, because usually she is so infallible. Panyasan and WarpGirl of course were too clever to be fooled. At least, I assume that WarpGirl got it right. She didn't actually say, did she? Hmmm ...

Panyasan, you're up. But somebody else owes us a drabble too, doesn't she? Yes, I'm looking at you, WarpGirl!

Well my mama didn't raise no fool! And the amazing Escriba just wrote something that inspired me. Sooooo, I'll wait for Panyasan to go first, and then I'll pay up. I try not to welch, you know. I don't know what happened to me last night.

A drabble with a little background story.

He had checked the traffic of ships arriving from Earth in the last days. He had searched through the lists of passengers names. Finally he saw her name. And his.
He took a cleansing breath. This was the alien who had taken T'Pol away. Away from the Vulcan ways. Leading her away to her destruction.
He had to do something. The plan was easily made. His parents would object and think he was a fool. However, they wouldn't mind the influence and wealth of T'Pols family.
Logic had guided him. He would save her. What ever means it would take.

Koss. I think that's rather an interesting take on things. I could see him being very concerned that T'Pol could be in danger by going off the tradtitional Vulcan path. BRAVO! I love this.

Well, I think it's my turn. Good news I got an idea! Thanks for waking up my muse Escriba.

Author's note: I know there's the whole argument on Starfleet's military status. I'm going with what they said directly on the show that Starfleet and the military were seperate entities. If you don't like that and disagree, write to Paramount I didn't come up with the rules. Now, have fun guessing!

I can't say I like the Delphic Expanse, but I didn't expect it to be this hard. Starfleet was organized like most military organizations, (just in case). But chain of command and uniforms do not make soldiers. The Xindi changed all that. Now, we are in an environment we don't understand. Starfleet personnel and one Lt. Reed are paranoid we'll take over. As if we could! We're as lost as they are. I'm starting to respect Reed, in another life I'd buy him a drink. He did almost win that fight, almost. Who knows, war makes strange friendships. There's time.

Yes sir. I had thought I made it a little vague, I guess not. You caught me!

I enjoyed that, WarpGirl. I liked the character of Hayes and thought his confidence and professionalism contrasted quite starkly with Reed's childish and insecure introvert. In hindsight, the last sentence is especially poignant.
